Jamaica Constabulary Force
Chooses Interlinc As Agency Of Choice For It's New
Media and Website Development Requirements
Interlinc Communications,
Jamaica's leading integrated media agency was
awarded the contract to re-design and manage the
official website for the Jamaica Constabulary Force
in early 2008. The new website, expected to be
launched in April of 2008 will help the
Jamaica
Constabulary Force (JCF) stream-line its media and
communications strategies both internally and
externally.
Built using our sophisticated
Content Management System (CMS) that was
successfully deployed for clients including
ICT4D
Jamaica / HEART, the
Ministry of National Security,
the Passport, Immigration & Citizenship Agency
(PICA), the Recording Industry Association of
Jamaica (RIAJAM),
Reggae Academy and all companies
within the
MWM Global Holdings Group in the British
Virgin Islands, the new CMS allows the MIS/IT
departments within the Jamaica Constabulary Force to
self-manage all aspects of their media and
communications processes reducing their reliance on
the Agency for updates and management thereby
resulting in long-term savings - a key issue for
emerging e-government platforms and models.
The Interlinc solution proved far
more affordable than those offered by competitors
locally and abroad, yet delivers more 'bang for the
buck' than the competition. In the Jamaican market,
Interlinc Communications is well known for its
ability to deliver cutting-edge technology, superior
after sales service at the most affordable rates,
and this has been the key to the company's success
in growing from a relative unknown in the industry
10 years ago, to dominating it today.
In business since 1994,
Interlinc Communications is also one of the oldest
integrated agencies in Jamaica and the Caribbean,
in-fact the 'integrated model' was pioneered by the
Agency, back in 1996 at a time when many established
traditional agencies, failed to see the impact and
importance that the Internet would play in the years
to come.
With the proliferation of
web-developers since 2000/1 in Jamaica the company
has been able to successfully hold competitors at
bay by offering deep discounts and superior services
- that today are on par with best services being offered in
the United States and Canada as well as the
traditional budget off-shore locations like India
and China without clients having to worry about time
zone and cultural differences.
In fact, for the same price
most of our competitors charge to develop just one
page of a website Interlinc has been able to design
& host complete websites, thanks largely to our
on-staff, off-shore developers based in India that
are centrally managed through our North American &
Caribbean operations.
Cost-competitiveness aside, one
of the key strengths in Interlinc's success has been
the fact that it is guided by a philosophy that is
not based solely on technical or a 'techie-approach'
but rather based on time tested and proven corporate
communications strategies. In fact, today, that is
one of the key differentiators -- unlike much of the
competition that tries to sway clients with
technical jargon, Interlinc Communications,
understands and helps to breathe life in the
communications process for all our clients.
As the award-winning young
company CEO,
Marcel Robinson points out --
'Advertising & Communications, is all about how well
you can communicate with your potential and
prospective clients regardless of the medium,
getting technical but not understanding the
fundamentals behind why people respond or how people
interact with your brand is a sure recipe for a
communications disaster.'
Interlinc Communications was
the recipient of the prestigious
Jamaica Chamber of
Commerce and
Financial Gleaner Entrepreneurial
Company of the Year award in 2001, and has received
numerous awards since then including the PSOJ Job
Creation Award and numerous media awards for service
and performance. The company's CEO,
Marcel Robinson,
was also the youngest person to be admitted to the
Jamaica Chamber of Commerce in its over 221 year
history, back in 2000.
