Website Developer & Programmer
The Senior Web Designer will lead the design effort
for Agency client websites and projects. Must be
familiar with user-interface and information
architecture principles and how to design & develop
websites with complex information and programming
functionality. Responsibilities will include
producing front and back-end interfaces, graphics
and offer programming support.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with existing staff to build mock-ups
and prototypes.
- Design and implement creative design and
graphics using HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP & .NET
- Produce a consistent visual style for all
web-based projects
- Communicate with clients, partners and
suppliers to execute projects
- Support of production systems
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years graphic design experience
required
- Minimum 2 years experience in design and
development of complex User Interfaces and
Internet Applications
- Expertise in current internet standards,
including web-browsers and browser
specifications. Ensure all websites are
accessible from a variety of platforms and other
technical constraints
- Working knowledge of networking technologies
including security and encryption
- Strong creative and conceptual skills
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
Software Proficiency:
- Hands on knowledge of current web markup and
scripting languages including: HTML, CSS and
Javascript
- Strong understanding of dynamic or active
web-content including PHP, ASP, .NET and MySQL
- Extensive experience with DTP software
including Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw and
Flash
- Microsoft FrontPage, Word and Outlook
